Play Inside and Outside with Bert and Ernie in Sesame Street!

Sparking ideas for offline play wherever you are!

Learning and growth can happen anytime, anywhere. Whether it’s indoors or outdoors, caring adults can help children build strong minds and bodies and develop the skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Inside and Outside with Bert & Ernie lets players sort their race car collections, dance like an animal, and collect leaves with their favorite muppet pals.  Whether it’s finding rocks with unique patterns, collecting toy blocks to build a house, or discovering clouds shaped like baseballs, there’s so much to do both inside and outside!

Players learn object recognition by identifying the size, shape, and color of things they see in their everyday life. Learn the differences between owls and ducks by observing and identifying unique features of stuffed animals with Ernie or group together similar blocks with Bert.

Workinman Interactive & Sesame Workshop collaborated to develop a variety of accessibility controls, so that more players can be accommodated through their own needs and style of play. Alternate control schemes and careful display of information to the player allow the blind and hard of hearing to play along.  By utilizing difficulty scaling along with curriculum scaffolding, the game adjusts to each child’s level of understanding to keep the game challenging within each child’s abilities.

Through fun and creative play with both Bert and Ernie, children will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of standout activities, no matter where they are!
