CONNECTED TOYS ARE THE FUTURE
With Bluetooth technology being the standard, toys and appliances can now have companion apps that guide new users, increase the variety of play modes, and create a greater ecosystem for a single product. But for users to realize the value of a connected product, the software has to be easy-to-use, reliable, and a joy to engage with. That’s where we come in.

CONNECTED TOY SDK
With more Smart Cycle games on the horizon, developers needed a quick and consistent way to interface with the Smart Cycle and its exciting technology. Workinman developed a drop-in Software Development Kit for Unity Engine, allowing for developers to easily connect their Smart Cycle games to the hardware, import pre-built cycle mechanics, and utilize central account and parental controls. So they could quickly get back to focusing on what matters: the games.
ACTIVE LEARNING
With the Fisher Price: Smart Cycle, kids will never know they are learning the alphabet, science, mathematics and more. Better yet, they learn while remaining active and having fun. Workinman worked with educators to develop 3 launch titles: Mission to Tech City (Literacy), SpongeBob (Math), and Barbie Dreamtopia (Art). Each title brought players into a unique world filled with friendly and familiar characters, educational minigames, and lots of exciting racing and events.

WORKING WITH BRANDS
In addition to educators, our team worked alongside the brand teams at Fisher Price, Mattel, and Nickelodeon, to make sure each character, environment, sound, and script line was perfectly in-line with the design and history of each brand. From Barbie’s magical effects to the proper way to assemble a Krabby Patty, our design team crafted rich words that are a continuation of what kids have grown to love.
